I’ve managed to combine two of my passions into a successful and enjoyable tour guide experience. I love photography and I also love guiding and teaching others. Helping clients capture images and seeing them smile from ear to ear is the most satisfaction I can get.
Even if you’ve just purchased your first camera or you’ve been taking photos for years, I’m always very happy to answer any questions and share my knowledge so you can be assured you will get the advice and inspiration you need.
My photography workshops and tours run throughout the year. I am fully insured with public liability to work within the EU so you can book with confidence. Each experience is carefully planned, I want you to enjoy every aspect of the tour and it’s the perfect chance to get hands-on support from a professional and most importantly making each trip affordable.
I purposely only run small tours with a maximum of 5 people. This is to ensure that you get plenty of one on one tuition and so we don’t cause too much stress on the environment in each location.
My workshops and photo tours are relaxed, informal and good craic! I love finding out about you and your life and what brought you to this adventure with me. On a previous trip to Iceland, I had a husband and wife from Namibia & South Africa, who’ve travelled all over the world. When they got home, they took the time to email me telling me how my Iceland tour was 110% their best adventure they’ve ever had in their lives.
You’ll leave feeling inspired, creative and you’ll be armed with new knowledge, skills and confidence to head out on your own and create beautiful images and experiment as well as memories that last a lifetime.
As well as my workshops and tours I also provide custom made projects, allowing you to choose the pace and destination and letting me bring my expertise. Please feel free to get in touch about your photography tour needs.
8th – 15th February 2019
Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime in Iceland as we go on the hunt for the beautiful autumnal colors on Iceland’s rugged landscape and in search of the majestic Aurora Borealis?
This 7 night Photography Tour will start off on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula where we’ll be spending the next 2 nights, we’ll then venture towards the South Coast for a further 2 nights, and then move further north & east up as far as Vestrahorn for another 2 nights. We’ll be visiting a few of the country’s most beautiful & iconic locations.
Multiple Departure Dates
My 4 night Iceland photography tours have been designed for people with a busy life, families, work commitments among other things. They are short 4 night breaks that allow you to see what Iceland has to offer with aurora chasing at night.
This 4 night Iceland Photography Tour is based on the South Coast of Iceland. We’ll be visiting a few of the country’s most beautiful & iconic locations, to name but a few but not limited to; Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, Reynisdrangar Sea Stacks, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon & Diamond Beach and the almighty, Vestrahorn Mountain.
I’ll soon be releasing details on a weekend photography tour in the last true wilderness of Ireland and that is in An Port, Donegal.
Based right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, where sheep and fields of peat dominate the landscape, where the cliffs just seem to fall off into the ocean, An Port truly is a special and remote place.
Accommodation will be in the only surviving cottage there which has no main electricity or running water. It will be a true Irish Experience.
My One to One Photography Workshops Ireland & Private Photography Tours are offered throughout the year at a time and date that suits you, these workshops & tours are ideal for photographers who want to improve their landscape photography.
The advantage of a one to one workshop is the day is structured entirely around you therefore the day will be based at your level of your experience and with 100% of my attention you will quickly be able to develop and enhance your skills at your own pace throughout the day.
18th May | 7th September | 12th October 2018
I’m excited to once again team up with my good friend and fellow astrophotographer Steven Hanna Photography to offer yet another Astro Photography & Post Processing Workshop at the Causeway Hotel & Giants Causeway.
Our last few workshops together couldn’t have gone any better! We’ve had amazing feedback with a high rebook rate.
My introduction to Adobe Lightroom will teach you how to organise and label the images you take and it’ll also introduce you to the editing interface that Lightroom has. We will take a look at all aspects of the standard digital darkroom, focusing on importing, organising, editing and then exporting and sharing your images for social media and the web.
