Dates: Saturday 18th November 2018
Meeting Time: 7:00PM
Meeting Location: Giant’s Causeway Car Park
Shooting Location: Giant’s Causeway & Surrounding area
Group Size: This workshop will be limited to a maximum of 5 students. This allows myself to spend more time with everyone individually helping them with any questions or problems they may have.
You’ll be learning the fundamentals of astro photographing, focusing in the dark, how to find your composition, long exposure and basic rules like the “600 rule”.
When I originally started out with my photography journey, it was the night sky that inspired me so much. There is something about being out in the darkness of the night, the solitude, and being able to create dreamy like images. It’s completely different than the normal images and thanks to modern cameras and lens’ these type of images are never far away from ones reach.
Since I launched my Astro Photography Workshops, I’ve been able to combine my love of photography, night time and teaching others the techniques of capturing those star filled views.
While no knowledge of night photography techniques is required for this workshop you must understand that this isn’t a beginners guide to using your DSLR. You should already have a decent working knowledge of your camera gear and how the exposure triangle works.
Please contact me with any questions before signing up to this workshop.
